The 29th Annual Meeting of the Members of East-Central Iowa REC was held virtually via Zoom on June 26! Members can view the recording of the meeting by clicking this link.
One primary piece of the Annual Meeting is the Board election. Nick Donlea (District 8) was re-elected and Pete Burmeister (District 6) and Gary Cook (District 10) were newly elected to serve three-year terms on the Board of Directors. This year, members could vote by mail-in ballot or online through our website and SmartHub.
Following the business meeting, a Board reorganization meeting was held. Re-elected to office were Steve Rau, president, and Jeff Elliott, vice president. Julie Kester was elected secretary/treasurer, while Pete Burmeister was elected assistant secretary/treasurer.
This year’s theme was “Energizing Tomorrow: A Resilient Journey of Innovation and Dedication.” We remain steadfast in our commitment to innovation, sustainability, and the well-being of our membership. Together, we stand poised to embrace the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead, fortified by a resilient spirit and an unwavering dedication to energizing tomorrow.
