New users will need to register the first time.
Register by clicking on the link next to New User? labeled “Sign up to access our Self Service site." This will take you to the “New User Registration” screen where you will need to fill in your:

account number (printed on your bill)

last name or business name on the account

either the last four digits of your Social Security number or your federal tax ID

e-mail address to be used as your login name, as well as to send notifications to if you choose
Pay-By-Phone: Make a payment any time, any day of the week, by calling our intuitive pay-by-phone system's toll-free number, 855.939.3584.
When you call to make a payment, no account number is needed—just tell the system the phone number tied to your account. You can also check your account balance.
Pay Now Site: We encourage members to utilize the free SmartHub account portal and app so you have more control, but member-consumers may also pay online without creating an online account through the SmartHub's Pay Now Site.
You can pay automatically each month by electronic direct payment from a bank account or credit/debit card.
You will continue to receive a statement each month from ECI REC to inform you of the amount of your electric bill. The bill you receive will have "bank draft - do not pay"or "credit/debit card charged" printed on it to let you know it has been paid by electronic direct payment. ECI REC accepts electronic direct payments from checking, savings, or credit/debit card accounts.
For the safety and security of your banking and card information we discourage hard copies or electronic distribution of your personal information. To sign up for electronic direct payment please phone our office to provide this information.
- For direct payments from your savings or checking we will need your banking institution, routing number, and bank account number.
- For card payments we will need the card type, number, expiration date, and name on the card.
We take every effort to start the electronic direct payment process as soon as we receive your request. Please check your statement to ensure that it reads "bank draft - do not pay"or "credit card charged."
Knowing what your monthly expenses are going to be can help you meet financial obligations month to month. If you have an ECI REC usage history of less than 3,000 kWh, the Cooperative offers member-consumers a budget billing option to level monthly electricity payments. Your monthly payment is based on yours, or the past occupants 12-month usage history of the service location.
ECI REC reviews your account periodically to ensure that payments are on track with the actual usage so that you do not face a large debit or credit at the end of the year. Member-consumers will pay for the electricity used. Your bill will always indicate your current charges during the month in addition to your budget amount.

Though we accept cash payments, we strongly suggest that NO cash payments be placed into the drive-up depositories. Please place only checks or money orders in the drop box.
