As we gear up for our 2025 Annual Meeting of the Members this week, we want to recognize and thank your Board of Directors for their dedicated service to our membership over the past year. This Board has put their combined 83 years of service to the Cooperative to good use, performing due diligence to ensure ECI REC remains member-focused and future ready.
It’s been a busy and productive year. The Board conducted regular monthly meetings to stay on top of ongoing responsibilities. At the May meeting, the Board approved the retirement of $601,038 to members through patronage dividends. In the past 10 years, ECI REC has returned $5,443,390 to our membership. The Board also approved a three-day, Cooperative-wide strategic planning session, which was held in late June. There were two employee sessions plus a Board management session, where we assessed what we have accomplished this year and what to consider for the next year or two. More information on the goals and initiatives the Board discussed is coming later this summer.
Let’s extend a big thank-you to all the members of our 2024/2025 Board for their strong commitment to serving ECI REC and our members. And congratulations on their years of service milestones!
