East-Central Iowa REC cordially invites you to come and see the new Urbana Solar Acres, one of Iowa's first utility-scale solar installations.
The Urbana site is one of five within the Central Iowa Power Cooperative (CIPCO) member systems that will be operational in 2016.
In late March ECI REC announced it would be part of Central Iowa Power Cooperative’s (CIPCO) utility-scale solar project, the largest such project in the state. The Urbana Solar Acres facility will generate 1,133,800 kWh of energy as a part of CIPCO’s 5.5MW solar project.
