- Pay online. Using SmartHub to pay your bills is fast, free, and safe! You can view and file your bills using any computer or smartphone. Use SmartHub in combination with direct payment and budget billing to streamline your month-to-month financial planning. Detailed billing charts include month-to-month and year-to-year comparisons and temperature data.
- Know your usage and perform an energy audit. SmartHub offers a dynamic My Usage section with many tools to help you analyze your past and current energy usage, as well as plan and conserve in the future. Compare your energy use and costs, set markers to monitor changes in your usage from the Analyze Your Usage tab, and get energy-saving tips from the Explore Usage Management tab. One of the most useful features is the HomeEnergyCalculator™, which allows you to perform a free self-energy audit: go to My Usage, click on Usage Management, then click on the blue “Get Started” arrow. Your actual ECI REC energy usage will automatically upload into the HomeEnergyCalculator so you can complete an analysis of your home’s energy usage.
- Stay up-to-date during an outage. ECI REC’s outage map, which offers near real-time information, is accessible from the SmartHub app. It displays how many members are affected by an outage, if the outage was predicted, if the outage has been verified, and if crews have been dispatched to address the outage. There is also a call log that shows the number of members who have contacted us regarding the outage at hand.
