The Co-op Connections® Card connects our member-consumers to valuable discounts, encouraging them to shop at participating local businesses. As a participating business in the Co-op Connections program, you can connect with new customers and increase visits from existing customers by offering discounts to East-Central Iowa Rural Electric Cooperative members. Your only cost for joining the program is the discount you offer.

- Signup online: Visit the Co-op Connections website to start the process, and follow our step-by-step guide.
- Printable contract: If you prefer a hard copy, we offer a printable contract for you to fill out and mail.
The process is simple—the participating business signs a one-year contract with ECI REC, promising to offer meaningful discounts to member-consumers. You decide the terms of the discounts. You then display the window and cash register stickers at the business, indicating participation in the Co-op Connections Card program. In return, ECI REC encourages members to shop at participating businesses by providing free publicity through our bi-monthly newsletter, monthly bill stuffers, newspaper ads, website, Facebook, and more. We offer to highlight participating businesses with a feature article, giving members an in-depth look at what your business offers.
