When checking member meters, Chapman Metering will drive a white panel van with an ECI REC door magnet. The van has an Iowa license plate number of 554 NWC, Shelby.
At ECI REC’s September safety meeting, Larry Chapman, owner of Chapman Metering, gave a presentation for operations personnel reviewing various metering technologies.
Chapman Metering began meter testing on October 7. Testing of our Cooperative meters will be ongoing for approximately three months. Chapman Metering will begin testing 1,833 meters in Benton and Buchanan County. Members will be notified via ECI REC’s voicemail system when they can expect their meters to be tested.
Regular meter testing is required by the Iowa Utilities Board. Testing the Cooperative’s 8,600 meters is an important procedure, ensuring the meters are functioning accurately.
